Senior Support Worker and Support Workers

Tus Nua Care Services Ltd. provide a service for adults with Learning Disabilities age 18 + who require 24/7 Housing Support, Care at Home or Respite.

Senior Support Worker
Salary £32,760 per annum plus £65 per night sleep in allowance

Duties/Responsibilities

• To participate in the Daily care and Support of Adults with Learning Disabilities including personal care, social skills guidance, promoting independence of daily living skills and household tasks, supporting meaningful activities, supporting positive health and wellbeing.
• To participate in the assessment, planning and reviewing of support programmes applicable to each individual service user.
• To promote and uphold anti-discriminatory practices and equal opportunity practices in line with Company Policy.
• To play an active part and promote the participation of service users, in all aspect of their lives.
• To support and maintain effective relationships with service users, support workers, families and multidisciplinary members.
• To contribute to the development of individuals and the team through active participation in effective supervision, appraisals, team meetings, training sessions etc.
• To contribute to Service reviewing and monitoring processes.
• To fully participate in the Rota system and to be available for “sleep in” duties as required

Support Workers
Salary £27,290 per annum plus £65 per night sleep in allowance

Duties/Responsibilities:

We are looking for dynamic and motivated applicants. Workers will be compassionate and have genuine enthusiasm for working with Adults with Learning disabilities. Previous experience in the care sector and SVQ qualifications preferred but not essential.
